Love seeing my book on the shelves of one of my favorite bookshops! 🙌🏻 When you’re a pianist but this is one of your kid’s favorite toys 😬😂 #piano #babyeinstein #pianist #musiclife Not all of us can practice in world-class cathedrals, okay? Some of us make do with our weird little basement studios. 😂 A little encouragement from Spirit-Filled Singing. I so enjoyed a few minutes of playing John Field’s nocturnes while Martin napped. I won’t use these beautiful pieces in a worship service, but I received them as a refreshing gift. I hope you take time to play music for fun this weekend! Pulling out all the stops because it’s Eastertide! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 Happy Easter! I’ve had Luther’s favorite hymn stuck in my head, which is a far better caption than anything I could come up with. 🙌🏻 I have very rarely had a bad performance due to being unprepared. I have, however, flubbed quite a few due to over-preparation. I have been known to work myself into a frenzy, playing the same difficult passage over and over and over again until I have effectively unlearned it. Arrangement by David Lasky A blessed Holy Week to you all. My prayers are especially with those of you tasked with leading God’s people in praise.
