I think having your fictional story seem more real than reality sounds like a great problem and a great sign that you’ve got an awesome novel on your hands. My biggest problem so far is that I talk about my characters like they are real people, which can be confusing for those around me until they figure out what I’m rambling on about.   I do the same thing! I love when characters live beyond the page, even if it’s only in my imagination. :)
