It’s Jane Austen’s 250th birthday, and her writing remains as fresh, endearing, insightful, and convicting as ever. I genuinely love reading Austen’s novels, and have lost count of how many times I’ve reread Emma and Pride and Prejudice in particular. But I know that reading her work can be daunting. Hopefully the following post will encourage you to dive in undeterred, and to enjoy the poignancy, humor, and insight of her books.
